Day 1:
Took "euroline" (a long journey bus) from Mannheim. Buddy under estimate the time to the bus stop. We rushed like mad, running, jumping over fence, getting lost etc. However, just managed to make it on time. Not a single minute extra. Huh... asthma.. inhaler..relief. Seat separately as no more double seats available. Sleep the whole journey as really tiring. Bus entered France, passport checked. Mine took the longest time as usual, am I look like migrant heh? Anyway... continued journey and reached at euroline main station about 6am.
Day 2:
Buddy is smart enough to get 2 days train passes for us to travel around Paris. Since get can only check-in at 6pm. We headed to Eiffel Tower. It was inaugurated in 1889 and it now becomes one of best-known monuments on the planet. The weather in Paris is only 13-15C and we both were "smart" enough to bring only summer shirt. Oh wow...never check the weather before travelling. With only one sweather I was chilling! Buddy is always kind enough to give me his :) . After some photography sessions for about 2 hours (hehe...my favourite monument ma), we headed to Bastille.
Bastille --symbol of the French Revolution, the national holiday on 14th July commemorates the day on which the people of Paris stormed the Bastille prison here, in 1789. This maze of little streets behind the square containing the new opera house. After Bastille.
We continued to walk around for sight seeing, grabbed some local pastries and cakes as lunch. Nevertheless, coffee session again before we headed to our hotel for check in and shower. After that, get out to shops nearby to buy a roasted chicken, a baggett and a salmon spread for dinner. Hmm...sleep early as I am very tired...zzzzzzz
