Started the day late, having breakfast in the room before headed to "pasar pagi"! Hehe... never get me wrong. Is a wet market street. Somekind of pasar tani kind of stuffs. We both love that! Walking along those streets made buddy felt happy as kind of "back-home" feel. (Oh ya, before getting our way there, accidentally bumped into "sex-street"--hold buddy really tight and rushed out from the area :P). Seafood, fruits, flowers, butcher, cheese etc were sold along the street. We bought some cherries and peach. Sweet...!
We walked along the street and came to another tourism spot --- Sacre Couer. This white basilica provides one of the best panoramic views of the city. This neo-Gothic building was built in memory of the Franco-Prussian war of 1870. However, we didn't climb up to the top of the rotunda. I was just too lazy..hehe...
We continue walking to another special spot -- Notre-Dame. This cathedral had been an integral part of the history of the people of Paris since 13th century. This place of worship is a wonderful architectural achivement. To get into the church, the line was aready very very long when we got there. So, guess what?
I sneak in through the exit! Just some quick shots for interior photos. Buddy needed to wait for me outside in the rain. Pity him.
After the Notre-Dame, we both were looking for a particular cafe. OPEN CAFE. Therefore, we walked from here to there. Buddy let me lead the tour. Haha...wrong decision made by him. I am a poor navigator le. We "pusing the garden" in the rain. Passed by some churches and National Museum of Modern Art-- Centre Pompidou which looks like piping outside. Not bad huh.... However, found it enjoyable playing in the rain! Finally, sipping coffee in the nice cafe. (Hmm...after buddy took back the control of the tour :P, he found that I am totally nerd in reading map and no sense of direction!) Bumped to few shops, nice and handsome guy we meet :). Buddy managed to grab a pair of shoe and a scarf. Huh... not a bad day...
P/S: Have an nice evening with buddy in our hotel... thoughts shared, tears dropped, distance in heart getting closer. I love you so much! *hugs and kisses*
